Hi, my main is a raiding shadowpriest. Okay first, no brainer, make sure you are correctly geared/gem, even if you can not afford the epic gems, blue ones work just the same. I am not exactly sure what kind of raider you are but for myself, I make sure I have food buffs, flasks, and volcanic potions on me all the time. Depending on your gear, try to get the newest tier, the 4 set is an amazing way to get more shadow orbs, thus, more crits.

Rotation—before they pull the boss, I always pre-pot, put my VT, SWP, I pop my fiend, mind flay until the wings are activated, pop wings, mind blast, mindflay, and so on.

For buffs, if there is a Warlock in your raid group, inform them to put Dark Intent on you, I don’t even care what their excuse is, Shadow Priests, are the number one target to put DI on.
